Sixteen horses died at New York City Racecourse this year, but the New York State Game Commission has taken no meaningful action to end the bloodshed. Last year, 69 horses died on tracks in the state. Horses are intelligent and empathetic animals, and if the industry cannot keep its “athletes” alive, racing must stop. Please take action.
