The Voynich Manuscript

Rather than being named for the author, the Voynich handwriting is called after Wilfrid Voynich, a book dealer who bought the mysterious codex back in 1912. In addition to the undecipherable textbook, it’s adorned with illustrations of unidentifiable shops and objects. The Yonaguni Monument

Discovered by a scuba diving educator Kihachiro Aratake after he plunged into the water off the seacoast of the Japanese islet of Yonaguni in 1986, the unsolved aquatic riddle came known as japan’s Atlantis.’A series of sepultures terraced into the side of a mountain lay six measures below the face of the ocean.
