Harry Potter Princess Emma Watson has come so far since her role as Hermione Granger in the successful wizardry series. So right now we’re about to bring you ten things you didn’t know about the British actress. So let’s get started. Wyngardia Leviosa.
It’s Leviosa, not Leviosa
First up, let’s time travel back to the first time we ever laid eyes on eleven-year-old Emma during the very first Harry Potter movie, The Sorcerer Stone. Emma also said she auditioned because her friends did as well, and she thought it would be a laugh. Well, looks like the jokes on everyone else. Now that starring in the widely popular book series has earned her a net worth of about $60 million.
I’m bloody hell that brings us to Fact number two during auditions for the role of Hermione, which was her very first audition ever. Author JK Rowling supported her and fought for Emma since her very first screen test. Eight auditions later, Emma scored the supporting role next up. Although Emma didn’t exactly join in in the Quidditch matches at Hogwarts, she’s very athletic. She’s a certified yoga and meditation instructor and was on her school’s dance team and field hockey team.
That counts as modern-day footage. Right. Moving on to Fact number four. While filming the Harry Potter series, The Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. A Straight A student, Emma always made time to study on set just like Hermione.
And while attending Brown
University to finish up her degree, she said students never bullied her and were actually quote, weirdly protective of her College experience. There were even rumors that a fellow student yelled, quote Ten points to Gryffindor when she answered a question correctly in a Brown lecture hall. But Emma claims that wasn’t true. Not going to lie. That would have been pretty awesome moving along to number five.
Okay, so you remember the surprising love story that is Ron and Hermione. I mean, come on. It was love at first sight, right? And you are Ron raised. Okay, maybe not at first sight, but Emma’s dish that offset Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint were like brothers to her.
But she did admit that during filming she had the hots for another cast member. This brings us to our 6th fact. No one asked your opinion. Do you still feel my blood? Little harsh, Malfoy.
Emma said she had a huge crush on Tom Felton, who played Draco. Malfoy because he was a little older and a bit of a bad boy and he had a skateboard. Seems like a winner in our book. All right, enough with Hermione Granger, but we’re pretty sure Emma’s opinionated and feminist character has rubbed off on her because, after all of her Harry Potter success, Emma’s gone on to become a United Nations women’s rights ambassador. I want to lead a country one day, for all I know, standing up for what she believes in as a public figure is her passion.
But she dishes that if she could escape
being a celebrity for a day, she would go into a mosh pit in a rock concert. Yikes, sorry, Em, but we may have to sit that one out. So for a fact no, eight, we thought it was interesting that Emma keeps different diaries for different parts of her life and writes in them every night before she goes to bed. She has a total of about 30 different diaries. Dang girl, that’s a whole lot of ink.
Oh, and speaking of ink, Emma also has a Pinterest page full of photos of tattoos she likes, but she says she never plans on getting one herself. For fact number nine, Emma adores her two cats, Domino, and Bubbles. But we’re meowing for Emma’s brother named Alex, who turned out to be pretty smoking hot. And speaking of her family, we may be able to blame the fact that both of her parents are lawyers and Emma’s ever so studious qualities on and off the screen. But we’re going to throw you a curveball for the last fact.
Emma threw a party of around 100
people and get this. Not one person posted pictures to social media. She must be a total whiz at party throwing, too. So there you have it, guys, you can officially call yourselves and Emma Watson? No, at all.
