West Palm Beach, Florida. – To commemorate World Water Day (March 22), a nearly nude PETA supporter will bathe in a bathtub at a busy West Palm Beach intersection with signs informing passers-by how much water is used to make one steak and two slices of cheese, and a seashell to tell the truth that the solution is to just go vegan.

    When: March 22, Monday, 12:00

Where: At the intersection of Clematis and S. Olive Avenue, West Palm Beach.

“The meat and dairy industries are draining our aquifers and trying to force everyone to ignore their destructive role in climate change,” says PETA executive vice president Tracy Reiman. “PETA encourages everyone to take on our collective responsibility and become vegan to help conserve water, animals, and planet.”

Animals used for food live in squalid, cramped conditions and die in terror in slaughterhouses. Every person who goes vegan saves the lives of nearly 200 animals every year. and helps save water because growing water-intensive crops just to feed the animals raised for their flesh consumes more than half of the water used in the United States. Livestock runoff is also a major contributor to the pollution of rivers and lakes and can also pollute groundwater. with viruses and bacteria.

PETA, whose motto is in part that “the animals are not ours to eat,” opposes specisism, which is a worldview focused on human excellence. For more information please visit PETA.org or subscribe to the group on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram…
