Oklahoma city – PETA placed a billboard outside the State Capitol urging Gov. Kevin Stitt to declare Meat All Week in March as a hit a day without meat in Colorado and encourage people to make healthy, eco-friendly and animal-friendly choices. vegan food is a trend that does not depend on a commitment to a disruptive industry.

“Governor Stitt must have lard in his head if he imagines he can stop the vegan revolution by pushing people to eat more meat,” says PETA President Ingrid Newkirk. “PETA is urging people to ignore this act of political despair and look at the meat industry for what it is – a disaster that pollutes the planet, clogs arteries and kills animals.”

In addition to killing other life forms that can sense as much or more than Stitt, the meat industry pollutes waterways with factory-farm wastewater; linked to heart attacks, obesity, strokes, high blood pressure, cancer, and diabetes; manages slaughterhouses where workers have been exposed to COVID-19 (some have died from it); and poses a threat to future epidemics and pandemics. SARS, swine flu, avian flu, and COVID-19 all arose from keeping and killing animals for food.

On its website, PETA offers delicious lean meat recipes, a vegan starter kit with tips, and a vegan mentoring program to provide personalized personalized advice on cooking, shopping, and more.

The billboard is located at 1245 SE 15th St. Petersburg

PETA, whose motto is in part that “the animals are not ours to eat” – opposes arrogance, a worldview focused on human superiority. For more information please visit PETA.org or subscribe to the group on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram…

Note: PETA supports animal rights, opposes all forms of animal exploitation and educates the public on these issues. PETA does not participate, directly or indirectly, or interfere in any political campaign on behalf of or against any candidate for public office or any political party.
