Having won a big victory on the path to animal liberation, Kering will stop selling fur from all of its brands starting in the fall 2022 collections. This means that former dissenters Saint Laurent and Brioni are joining other brands Kering Bottega Veneta, Gucci, Alexander McQueen and Balenciaga to ditch fur. The move follows a long and violent campaign from PETA organizations, a call from PETA’s American patron Gillian Anderson, a stock purchase to persuade the company to ditch fur, international protests, letters from more than 100,000 of our supporters in just one year, pressure from activists for around the world and much more.
