Fort Worth, TX – Tonight a pack of PETA supporters will call howl the uproar ahead of An Evening With the President demanding that Texas A&M University President M. Catherine Banks approve 19 dogs from the Canine Muscular Dystrophy Lab into loving homes. Nine dogs are currently housed in the training laboratory of the veterinary school. They are healthy and PETA wants them to be put up for adoption immediately.
When: October 14, Thursday, 5 pm – 6 pm
Where: Colonial Country Club, 3735 Country Club Cir. (at the intersection with Colonial Parkway), Fort Worth
“Texas A&M did the right thing when it stopped breeding dogs for the Canine Muscular Dystrophy Lab,” says PETA Senior Vice President Katy Guillermo. “Now the university needs to release the remaining dogs and provide them with the loving home they deserve.”
PETA, whose motto is in part that “animals are not ours to experiment on” – opposes arrogance, a worldview focused on human excellence.
