Houston – To help those affected by the Texas winter storms that left people without electricity and running water, PETA is sponsoring vegan chili dogs from Good Dog Houston, as well as rice and vegetable dishes from Mojo Meal Preps as part of the choreographer. Black Dee DunkThe Vegan Food Raffle tomorrow at the Joseph House Community Center. The Animal Rights Group also sent the artist and partner Jordana M. Schacht-Levin the One Can Change the World for the Better awards in recognition of their healthy and humane public relations efforts.

When: Thursday, March 11, 10 am to 11 am

    Where: 7802 Jensen Dr., Houston

“There are people here in Texas who are still starving due to storms, and we have to do whatever we can to help,” says Black, who has worked with A $ AP Rocky, Daddy Yankee, Diplo and others. “I am thrilled to be working with PETA to ensure that more people have access to nutritious food, especially foods that are good for the planet.”

A vegetarian diet saves animals from unnecessary suffering and slaughter, and a United Nations study concluded that a global vegan diet is necessary to combat the worst impacts of climate change, including changing devastating snow and rain patterns. Becoming a vegan can also help prevent future pandemics: SARS, swine flu, bird flu, and COVID-19 all have to do with restricting and killing animals for food.

“There are no dancing around the fact that vegan diets not only save animal lives, but also help reduce climate change and improve human health, ”says PETA President Ingrid Newkirk. “PETA admires Black and Jordana for their determination to feed people in Houston with delicious food that saves lives.”

PETA, whose motto is in part that “the animals are not ours to eat” – opposes arrogance, a worldview focused on human superiority. For more information please visit PETA.org or subscribe to the group on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram…
