“Behind every crab cake or fish fillet is someone who, like you and me, felt pain and fear,” says PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman. “PETA encourages everyone to switch to delicious vegan seafood that helps protect the aquatic animals and oceans they call home.”

Vegan seafood like Gardein’s Golden Fishless Filets and Good Catch’s Crab-Free Cakes are Earth-friendly, free from saturated animal fats and cholesterol. and prevents fish from being gutted on the decks of fishing boats, live lobsters from falling into boiling water, dismemberment of conscious crabs and octopuses that can be separated and served while still wriggling.

PETA ads can be found on buses and bus stops at the following locations:

    • 1621 S. Broadway
    • 4670 st. Chippewa
    • 715 Chouteau Ave.
    • 1006 Clark Ave.
    • 4315 Hampton Ave.
    • 1006 S. Jefferson Ave.
    • 3101 Market st.

PETA, whose motto is in part that “the animals are not ours to eat” – opposes arrogance, a worldview focused on human superiority. For more information please visit PETA.org or subscribe to the group on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram…
